The BIG walk from ZUMA BEACH to BIG DEAN'S in Santa Monica took place on Sunday January 24th, 2010. The walk (4th annual) began at 5:00am at Zuma, and ended at Santa Monica Pier at about noon. Participants this year were Jeff Meyer, John McLaughlin, Maggie Klaus, Alesandrea Meyer, Gary Sortino, and Tom Campbell, with the faithful chase crew, (Cold drinks and chocolate on Pacific Coast Highway), Dennis Watson and Gene Meyer.
It was a spectacular 22 mile morning walk in perfect weather. All went well with no Caribou casualties. Below are some photos.
